The members of Biolinguistics Initiative Barcelona intend to build on the foundations laid a few years ago by the Grup de Biolingüística, who among other things organized Evolang 7 and published "The biolinguistic turn" in 2006.
To symbolize this connection we have decided to organize a cycle of lectures ("the biolinguistic re-turn") in the Spring of 2012 featuring some of the contributors to the "Biolinguistic Turn". Speakers will include: Sergio Balari, Guillermo Lorenzo, Txuss Martin, Joana Rossello, Victor Acedo, Jordi Fortuny, and Antonio Benitez-Burraco.
Lectures by Cedric Boeckx, Raquel Santiago and Jordi Morata are also planned.
